Maginnes: Close but no corn dog in U.S. Open qualifier

PGA TOUR contributor and former TOUR player John Maginnes teed it up at Pinewald in Pinehurst, N.C., recently in an attempt to earn a spot in the U.S. Open. And while he didn't embarrass himself, he'll be wearing a media credential at Oakmont.
