Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood
Tee time:
1:30 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 65 (Westwood has 18 European Tour wins)
Why you should watch: No reason. Just the fact that Tiger Woods is 13-for-13 in major championships when entering the final round with the 54-hole lead. Catching Tiger is a tough task, period. But doing it at Torrey Pines where he's won six times on the PGA TOUR? Seems impossible. As for Lee Westwood, he's experienced the enormous crowds and attention before in the Ryder Cup. Will he be able to put the nerves aside in this individual challenge on Sunday? Plus, he's beaten Tiger before -- 18 holes will tell whether he can do it again.

Geoff Ogilvy, Rocco Mediate
Tee time:
1:20 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 9
Why you should watch: As we know, Geoff Ogilvy already has a U.S. Open trophy at home. He's going to start the day trailing Tiger by four shots, but if he can just be consistent and stay away from the big number, he could certainly have something to say before this one ends. Rocco Mediate will start the final round two shots behind Woods. He's on the back end of his PGA TOUR playing days at age 45, which could make him a dangerous man in the final round. He might be tempted to take more risks than the other guys near the top.

Hunter Mahan, D.J. Trahan
Tee time:
1:10 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 3
Why you should watch: Hunter Mahan and D.J. Trahan are both rising stars on the PGA TOUR. In terms of comfort, the duo could not have dreamed up a better final-round pairing. While all the spectators will be caught up in the hoopla of watching Tiger take a crack at major win No. 14, Mahan and Trahan can just go about their business in an unassuming fashion. They're far enough back (five and four shots, respectively) that nobody really expects them to win. So, maybe they'll be free-wheeling it a little in the final round.
