One of the weaker closing holes for a U.S. Open, this presents a birdie opportunity. The drive is downhill to a fairway that narrows to about 16 yards as it passes through an enormous cluster of bunkers and fescue on both sides. Players can stay short of the bunkers and have 160 yards to the green, or hit driver and have a wedge. The approach is to an elevated green that slopes from back to front, so keeping it below the hole will be critical.
