Robert Garrigus -- a one-time winner on the PGA TOUR -- and TOUR rookie Kevin Chappell took low-American honors at the U.S. Open, tying for third. They were the only Americans to finish inside of the top 10.

At the club in Northern Ireland where Rory McIlroy learned to play golf, they celebrated from the first birdie Sunday. Many pints were sunk and songs sung, including an impromptu "Rory, Rory Hallelujah."

McIlroy snatches second spot in PGA Grand Slam of Golf
Rory McIlroy blitzed the field in the U.S. Open at Congressional, setting a tournament scoring record of 16-under 268. With that, he claimed the second spot in the 2011 PGA Grand Slam of Golf foursome.
